From 16 to 19 November 2026, CEU San Pablo University in Madrid will host the Sustainability Business and Legal Game, an Innovative Teaching Workshop organised within the framework of the Erasmus+ Project BEYOND – Boosting and Enhancing Youngs’ Next Generation Awareness for ESG Values Development.
The initiative will bring together students from the University of Pisa, CEU San Pablo University (Madrid), the University of Messina, and Nürtingen-Geislingen University (Germany) for an intensive European learning experience combining strategic management, sustainability, legal compliance, and responsible decision-making.
Working in international mixed teams, participants will take part in an interactive business simulation designed to address realistic managerial challenges and make strategic decisions in a competitive business environment.
Throughout the simulation, students will be required to carefully balance economic performance, environmental sustainability, and legal and regulatory considerations, experiencing first-hand the complexity of integrating ESG principles into business strategy.
The workshop will offer participants the opportunity to:
- strengthen their skills in strategic thinking and ESG integration;
- address complex trade-offs through collaborative and evidence-based decision-making;
- apply theoretical concepts to realistic business and legal scenarios;
- develop teamwork and intercultural communication skills in an international learning environment.
The Sustainability Business and Legal Game is designed as an innovative teaching activity to explore how
Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors influence corporate strategies and managerial choices. It will also encourage students to reflect on the broader role of businesses, managers, and institutions in contributing to a more sustainable future.
To support participation in the initiative, students from the University of Pisa can apply for a grant of up to €500 to help cover the expenses related to their participation in the workshop.
