From May 12 to 14, 2026, the University of Pisa will host the Business and Legal Game 2026, an interdisciplinary innovative teaching activity organized within the framework of the Erasmus+ Project BEYOND – Boosting and Enhancing Young graduates’ legal and economic knowledge and skills.
The initiative, developed as part of the course European Economic Law coordinated by Prof. Gabriella Iermano, will bring together students and faculty members from the University of Pisa and Nürtingen-Geislingen University for three days of collaborative learning, teamwork and simulation activities focused on business and legal challenges in the European context.
The program will begin on Tuesday, May 12, at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Pisa with institutional opening remarks, the formation of interdisciplinary working groups and the start of the business game activities. Participants will then work on mock conference presentations and engage in review sessions with faculty members, followed by a welcome aperitif with Italian and German students.
On Wednesday, May 13, students will continue their teamwork sessions and take part in the first session of the Mock Conference at Polo Piagge.
The final day, Thursday, May 14, hosted at Centro Congressi Le Benedettine, will include the second and third parts of the Mock Conference, a city tour of Pisa, and the closing reception.
The event is organized in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Anka Reich and Prof. Dr. Claudia Statchel of Nürtingen-Geislingen University and represents an important opportunity for participants to strengthen their interdisciplinary competences, international cooperation skills, and practical understanding of European economic and legal dynamics.
